Both cell phones and traditional landline phones have one thing in common: they're expensive. Many people want to minimize the use of cell phones at home to save mobile minutes, and to keep away from the hazard of cell phone radiation.  Here is a perfect solution: activate a VoIP home phone account, use our pre-configured VoIP telephone adapter with your regular telephone set as shown below, and start calling and receiving calls right away.  You may transfer your existing landline or mobile phone number to your VoIP home phone account too!   Say goodbye to monthly home phone bills!!
What are required at your home:
  • Reliable high speed internet connection (DSL, Cable, Fibe, etc.);
  • A free LAN port on your router or modem/router combo, which is DHCP enabled;
  • A regular telephone set.

What you pay:
  • $195 one time payment for a VoIP Home Phone Package, which includes a VoIP Telephone Adapter and activation of a new VoIP home phone account.

What you get:
  • A new home phone number with a Canadian area code of your choice, with free caller ID, free call forwarding to your other Canadian phones, and voice mail;
  • No monthly fee, no contract, no hazzle;
  • Unlimited free calling in;
  • Unlimited free calling out to most destinations of Canadian provinces;
  • Calling to other countries at super low charge per minute with a "pay as you go" long distance credit account.

Want to keep your existing phone number?
No problem.  Just add $30 one time charge to your VoIP Home Phone Package.  (service available for Alberta, B.C., Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia only)
About 911 Function:
Please note that VoIP 911 is different from traditional 911.  You will choose one from three options below:
  • VoIP 911 function enabled for full emergency services (ambulance, police, fire, etc.).  Each 911 call will incur $35+tax payable to the VoIP phone company.  Your VoIP home phone service may be disconnected if you fail to pay any amount owing.
  • VoIP 911 function disabled.  You must have alternative means (e.g. a cell phone) of calling 911 at home if you go with this option.
  • VoIP 911 directed to a Canadian hotline phone number (e.g. local police, a relative not living together).  It is your responsibility of providing such a hotline phone number to us if you go with this option.
